If supervised time with your child is required: CALL US TODAY!
Community Family Services provides Washington State with supervised visitation, supervised exchange and/or supervised telephone calls between parents and their children. Supervised visitation offers separated parents, or families with ongoing conflict, the opportunity to spend time with their children in the presence of a neutral observer. Community Family Services offers mobile supervision in safe, conflict-free areas where children can talk and play with their parents and relatives. We provide families the opportunity to maintain or re-establish family relationships.

Supervised Visits: Our trained supervisor is present during all visitations; however, he or she will not participate in your visit. The supervisor will meet with both the drop-off parent and the visiting parent; however neither parent will have contact with the other parent unless the court allows contact. The drop-off parent will immediately leave the area and the supervisor will take the children to the visiting parent and the visit will begin. The visit may take place in various locations. The following are suggestions for visitation places: · parent’s home · relative’s home · restaurant · bowling alley · skating rink · church · miniature golf course · shopping mall · park · zoo · museum · library · theater · gaming area · amusement park · school events (if court approved) · sports arena · beach/mountain The visitation place will be pre-arranged at the time the visit is scheduled. All visitation locations will provide our supervisor the ability to maintain constant visual contact with the visiting parent and children. At the end of the visitation, the visiting parent will either remain in the area or immediately leave the area depending on the current court orders. Our supervisor will then return the children to the picking-up parent and that parent and the supervisor will immediately leave the area. Supervised Exchanges: In a supervised exchange arrangement, the children will be exchanged from one parent to the other through a pre-arranged drop-off and pick-up location where neither party has contact with the other party. All exchanges are conducted in safe public places. In cases involving allegations of violence; the exchanges will be made at the nearest police department.
Supervised Telephone Calls: The non-custodian parent calls our office - we place their call on hold and call the custodian parent. We then connect the parties and monitor the telephone call. At the conclusion of the telphone call, our supervisor will disconnect all parties.
